Alpaca Zone Engraving

Alpaca Zone is one of my favorite subjects ever. That's why I chose it.... for a very exciting school activity which I'd love to call "The Great Engraving Challenge". This is the astonishing result! It was an enjoyable and quite satisfying experience for me. I learned plenty of stuff, for example: a good engraver should be disciplined, patient and the type of person how works carefully, tidy and quick. I really have to brush up on my skills in terms of discipline. Illustrators aren't the type to splash ink and color all around...no, no. Well I had enough time to get used to the specific aspects of graphics since the beginning of the school year. Don't know what I'm talking about? Click here. Even though my engravings aren't the best....I still think that the alpacas and their human friend look cute. :-) Stay tuned to see more of "The Great Engraving Challenge" just here... on my diamond blog :-))

RedNose part one

I felt like painting something happy and dreamy... well this is the result so far. I've already began a new RedNose little mixed media work. I'm thinking about starting a series of carnival paintings. Something shiny, delicious, joyful and pleasant and about sweet candies all over the place.... and happy beings running around. Yeah...really going to give this project a try. Are you eagerly waiting? :@)

Lost in Klimt dizziness

I finished this acrylic paint on canvas work last month. I was inspired by Gustav Klimt's artwork and decorative patterns but I'm not quite satisfied with this canvas so I think I'm going to give Klimt another try one day, as soon as I find some time. A lot of things happened around those days and I must admit I was taken aback.....Felling dizzy while my "To Do" list is endlessly updating itself is quite frustrating. I'll keep on going, see what happens. Gotta work harder than ever. More of my new mixed media stuff on the way!

Four good friends

I adore adding different kind of things on my paintings like pieces from my old school notebooks, or book pages, chocolate wrapping, buttons.....why not Winsor & Newton ink wrapping :-) I think this is actually my first work so covered up with such stuff....I must confess I've started collecting pieces of wrapping in order to glue them on my canvases. I mean some products (especially candy, cookies and chocolate) come in such wonderful packages...Why not keeping them for noble purposes like art? Ode to candy wrapping!!! Enjoy the breathtaking view!

Bunny so Funny

Bunny so funny is my first mixed media painting this year. It is little and inspired by my beloved Suzi Blu. I'm really looking forward for her up coming online class! :-) I used acrylic paint, colored pencils, ink, pieces of fabric and paper....and wax of course.
